        Change is needed

Something needs to change in our world, in our country, in our politics, in our communities, in our families, and in ME. But what is going to bring about that change? It’s not more education.  It’s not new laws or new leaders.  It’s not a social program, policy, organization, or therapy. Only Jesus and His Power is able to bring about the necessary changes in the world and in me. The Multiply Method is a defined approach to experiencing the life-changing power of Jesus first in our own lives and then multiplying out into the world.

        Ministry Philosophy

        Church Philosophy

            • Gospel Preaching. We are committed to preaching the gospel in every sermon – Sin. Salvation. Service. Dedicated to message focus and repetition.

            • Discipleship. Slow start, exponential growth. Not about butts in seats and dollars in plates. 1 to 1 model rather than 1 to many. We wanted a new way to define the “success” of a ministry. Too many people go to church their whole lives and cannot articulate the gospel, the central message of the Bible.

            • Leadership Development. Leadership is necessary for growth and is taught in scripture. Scott developed 222LS to train new pastors / preachers / teachers. Not about 1 skilled person attracting a crowd but about getting more people involved in ministry at every level. This was decided when we went to the multi-campus level. Scott chose not to get “piped-in” for 2 primary reasons: 1. It removes an essential job of the pastor to shepherd the flock. 2. It assumes that no one can preach as well as the “star” preacher.

            • Systems. Organized way to approach ministry to maximize resources. We are also committed to developing ministry assets that will last a long time (Bible Step, PROS, & 222Disciple).

          School Philosophy

              • The demand for private schooling is exploding. De Santis just signed into law giving families huge grants from $7500-11,000 a year to select private schooling. We have wait lists of up to 80 families. God is not taught as the priority in public schools.

              • The school is the outreach arm of the church. The school is a ministry. We have seen many school church combos split and almost be completely different entities. We feel that the greatest need in Florida is quality christian education and that is what we seek to provide. We do a lot for outreach like Fall Festival, VBS, weeknight programs and studies, evangelism groups, but the school is our primary strategy for outreach.

              • The quality of education we provide must be the BEST. Everything has been reinvested into the school. Teachers, equipment, facilities. We have had very slim margins over the last decade.

              The Mission / Multiply Method

              Sunlight at PGA Village.

              • Since our grand opening on Christmas Eve, Sunlight PGA has witnessed God’s blessings and provision. We have been averaging a weekly Sunday morning attendance of 130 people and have welcomed 20 new disciples. Our Sunlight Kids program has expanded from just a nursery to include a 4’s and 5’s group, as well as an elementary class. We have seen God move people to serve in various areas, and we are deeply grateful for the many gifted volunteers who generously offer their time each week. We have also been cultivating a close relationship with the Sunlight Christian Academy’s Upper School, recognizing them as significant ministry partners. Please continue to pray that God will use PGA to make disciples and expand His Kingdom in Port St. Lucie.

              New Member Class

              • Our membership class has had a facelift. We used to have a 3 class journey to membership that took 6 weeks to complete. Now we have reduced it to one day. Ministry Point: Watercress Assisted Living

              • There is a need to reach out and provide pastoral care and worship services to locationally challenged people in the community.
              • Ministry Outreach Points has provided mini worship services to nursing homes and prisons. Services will be 35-40 min long with a host, worship, and preaching. Teams have brought snacks and conduct the service, and afterward minister, pray, and get to know the people in that location.
              • We need your help. If you would like to join the team in any capacity email jeff@sunlightcc.org

              Ministry Point: St Lucie Jail

              • We are actively engaged in ministry outreach at the St. Lucie County Jail in Fort Pierce to host evening chapel services every other Wednesday. On average, we welcome between 15 and 30 men to these services. With the dedicated support of our incredible volunteers, we share the gospel, and have witnessed the profound impact it has on these men. Many find themselves in a place of deep need, where God’s presence can work in extraordinary ways. These Chapel services are a time of worship, prayer, and the reading of God’s Word, but they are just the beginning. Our goal is to provide these men with a connection that fosters continued growth in discipleship, extending beyond the walls of the jail. As this ministry expands, we envision one-to-one discipleship as the next step in helping these men not only to know Jesus, but to also make Him known and live a Jesus life!

              • VBS is one of our churches biggest efforts in community outreach. This allows children to talk to their families about God’s love for a whole week with us. We had over 511 people involved in VBS. We had 325 kids registered which is up from 2023 VBS that had 288 kids registered.
